ICOW3 2024: Exploring the Future of Web 3.0 and AI
2024 ICOW3 Seoul: Blockchain, AI, and the Future of Web 3.0
The 2024 International Conference on Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Applications for Web 3.0 (ICOW3 2024) will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from November 22 to 23, 2024.
This conference will focus on the latest research and advancements in Web 3.0 technologies, built on blockchain, and their applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Web 3.0, often referred to as the next generation of the internet, is based on blockchain technology and aims to decentralize power and control over social media platforms and other cultural interaction mediums. By empowering creators and communities, Web 3.0 allows participants to become active stakeholders in the cultural economy, moving beyond mere consumption to ownership and decision-making roles. However, the design, implementation, and deployment of Web 3.0 technologies still face many challenges, and this conference will address these critical issues.
The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including blockchain scalability, NFT-based authentication technologies, security issues related to digital wallets, business models for Web 3.0, and the integration of AI in Web 3.0 applications. Researchers are invited to submit full academic papers (8-10 pages) or short industrial papers (2-3 pages) by August 31, 2024. Outstanding papers will be fast-tracked for publication in the Journal of Web Engineering, indexed in SCIE and SCOPUS.
ICOW3 2024 will take place at the K-Hotel in Seoul, supported by the Korea Blockchain Society, IEEE Xplore, and River Publishers. The conference is co-chaired by Professor Young B. Park of Dankook University, South Korea, and Professor Vijayan Sugumaran of Oakland University, USA. The program co-chairs are Professor Young Yoon of Hongik University, South Korea, and Professor Shih-Wei Liao of National Taiwan University, Taiwan. Local arrangements and publicity are being handled by Professor Sooyong Park of Sogang University, South Korea.
